He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eugene, Sr. and Verlyne Matilda "Tilly" Bauer (Bennett); and his brothers, Robert Eugene Bauer Jr., Leo Joseph Bauer III, Jeffrey Thomas Bauer and Bruce William Bauer.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Bauer (Stanley) of Beaufort; his son F. "Bryan" Bauer (Dana) of Beaufort; his brother Dale Patrick Bauer (Maggie) of Monrovia, IN; and his close friends, Frank Wutke and Billy Green. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
