He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hermann Kuhn and Meta Koch Kuhn. He is survived by: his wife Emma Jean "Jeannie" Bates of Beaufort; his children, Fred Kuhn Jr (Everette) of Beaufort and Janine "Ally" Coyle (Jeff) of Beaufort; his grandchildren, Sarah, Joshua and Matthew; and his nephews, Donald Muske (Karen) and Gregory Jaster.
