George Switzer III Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Harman Switzer Jr. and Kathryn Lelia Switzer. He is survived by: his son Michael Rogan Switzer; his daughter-in-law Renata Samson Switzer; his pets, Kinzie and Evie; his sister Katherine Eileen Burt; his niece Christine Airey; and his cousins, Francine Finlan (Michael), Luann Mitchell (Bob), Gene Switzer (Karen) and Melanie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Cathedral Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Callawassie Clubhouse (22 Callawassie Club Dr, Okatie, SC 29909).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Sigma Chi fraternity Maryland chapter and First Tee.
