She is survived by: her daughter Bridgette Jenkins Spencer (Ja'Vaughn) of Beaufort, SC; her grandsons, Da'Rion Spencer and Brenden Spencer; her siblings, Christopher Heyward III (Carla) of Perris, CA, Natalie Heyward of Beaufort, SC and Stanley Heyward Sr. (Valerie) of Beaufort, SC.; and her siblings' children, Zelphine Smalls (Arnold) of St. Helena Island, SC, Donna Pinckney (James) of Port Royal, SC, Ashley Heyward of Beaufort, SC, Clarissa Jenkins of Beaufort, SC and Stanley Heyward II of Houston, TX. She is also survived by grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, and dear friends.
