It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Cooler of Beaufort, South Carolina, born in Ridgeland, South Carolina, who passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Breland Cooler and Lula Wynn Cooler; and his son James "Jimmy" Wayne Cooler of James' Mother Of. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Cooler of Beaufort, SC; his stepsons, Christian A. Petersen (Jennifer) and Ian W. Sarges; his siblings, Bobby D. Cooler, Lamarr B. Cooler (Anne) and Leigh Cooler; his grandchildren, Willow Anderson, Leif Anderson, Gavin Petersen and Reese Petersen; and his daughters, Melissa Marie Cooler Anderson (Brian) and Missy.
