He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dermott Myers, Sr. and Mary Matta Myers. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary (Steve) and Francis; his sons, James (Kimberly), Mark (Melissa) and Joshua; and his grandchildren, Christopher (Kasey), Madelyn (Tyler), Clara, Jake and Alex.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Life Lutheran Church (351 Buckwalter Pkwy, Bluffton, SC 29910). A committal service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Beaufort National Cemetery (1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC 29901).
