He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jefferson Way, Jr. and Marion C. Way; his son Kyle Mitchell Way; and his brother Larry M. Way. He is survived by: his son Jimmy H. Way, Jr. of Charleston, SC; his siblings, Gerald Way (Debby) of Beaufort, William V. Way (Pennie) of Hendersonville, NC and Kathy Shealy (Bob) of Lexington, SC; and his grandsons, Malachi Way of Beaufort and Jeremiah J. Way of Beaufort.
