He is survived by: his father John Gensheimer; his wife Kathleen Gensheimer; his stepchildren, Timothy and Shannon Simet; his grandchildren, Colby Simet, Samantha Simet and Taylor Simet; and his siblings, Gary Gensheimer, Peter Gensheimer, Annette Zenk and Karen Raethka.
