Jeanne G. Wasson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne G. Wasson (Beaufort, South Carolina), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Wasson; her parents, Raymond Gemmel and Hattie Gemmel; and her brother Raymond Gemmel. She is survived by: her stepchildren, David Wasson (Michele), Susan Schultz (James) and Carol Wasson; her grandchildren, Michael Wasson, Justin Schultz and Kelsey Roe (Isaiah); and her great grandchildren, Rylee Roe, Frankie Schultz and Jesse Roe.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dataw Island Club (100 State Rd S-7-37, St Helena Island, SC 29920).
