He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anna Cashen and Vincent Cashen; his wife Josephine Cashen; his children, Dr. David V. Cashen and Claire C. Ventura; his sister Mary Purcell; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Natalie, Skyler Ventura, Madeline and Lucinda Cashen.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
