He was predeceased by: his parents, John Baptist and Wilma Heles (Lawson); and his sisters, Chris Heles and Carole Hill. He is survived by: his children, Mary "Missy" Heles-Moberly (Michael) and Drew Heles (Patricia); his grandchildren, Devin, Drake, Dade Stanley, Dallen Moberly, Tristan and Chloe Heles; and his siblings, Mark Heles and Ginny Burnett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Mirasol Health (formerly Hospice Care of the Lowcountry) in John's name.
