He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Moss Kirby and Isabel Byrum Kirby; and his siblings, Donald Kirby, Ollie Kirby, Brent Kirby, Lewis Kirby and Susie Kirby Rhea.
He is survived by: his wife Bonita Cayce Kirby; his children, Michele Kirby Wilson (Ron) and Norman B. Kirby, Jr. (Chip); his grandchildren, Anna Wilson, Taylor Kirby and Trey Kirby; and his brother Lindsey Kirby (Norma). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
