She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruthie Wollard Hunt and Joseph B. Hunt; her husband John Philip Snipes Sr.; and her sisters, Louise and Phyllis.
She is survived by: her sons, John Philip Snipes Jr. and Shane Snipes; and her brother Clifton Hunt.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, South Carolina Chapter, in honor of Patsy and all families affected by Alzheimer's disease.
