She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Burch and Mary Burch; and her son Bill Markle. She is survived by : her husband Richard E. Van Patten; her daughters, Mary Warren of Westmoreland, TN and Linda Howe of Walbridge, OH; and her stepdaughter Bonnie Leusby of Moncks Corner, SC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
