With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Simmons of Beaufort, South Carolina, who passed away on March 27, 2026 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sharon may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sharon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester O'Kresik and Irene O'Kresik; her sister Bonnie Beale; and her former husband Jerry Metz. She is survived by: her sister Stephanie Post; her husband Jerry Simmons; her children, Brady Rothgeb (Drea), David Metz and Alicia Strickland (Hank); and her stepchildren, Amy Cunningham (Brad) and Steve Simm (Kelly).
