She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bales and Joan Davis Bales; and her son Andrew "Andy" Kendall Pruitt. She is survived by: her husband Gerald W. Pruitt of Beaufort, SC; her son Nick Pruitt (Lacie); her grandchildren, Eden, Will and Jack; and her siblings, Carol Resch, David and John Bales.
