It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Goertz (Beaufort, South Carolina), who passed away on August 25, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Wilma is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Wilma's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Raymond and Lucy Louise Riggall (Taylor). She is survived by: her sisters, Ruth Reid of Springfield and Annis Gerner of Bakersfield; her children, Gary (Catherine) and Linda (Butch Bloomer) of Bluffton; and her granddaughter Janet (Jeff Gresham) of Lady's Island. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren in addition to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
