Nancy Ellen Botke Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Nancy Ellen Botke of Beech Island, South Carolina. Nancy, born on March 7, 1946, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ellen Meddaugh (Dexter) and Charles McMann; her husband Robert Botke Jr.; her siblings, Mike McMann, Betty Elliott, Mark Smith, Dan Moelter and Marjorie Niceswander; and her grandson Codey Tate.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Tate (Angie), William Tate, Melissa Felice (Brian) and Jin Sung (Jacob VandeHaar); her grandchildren, Robert Tate (Alison), Anthony Tate, Tyler Tate, Emily Bolen (Lindsey), Sky and Forest VandeHaar; her great grandchildren, Jersie Straubinger (Gavin), Saige Tate, Preston, Logan Tate, Nathan Coil, Kinsleigh and Blaklee Bolen; her great great grandchild Levi Straubinger; and her siblings, Mary Anderson (Chester), Chuck Wells (Deb) and Eileen Delaney (Steve). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Holt Christian Church (2424 Washington Rd, Lansing, MI 48911).
