He was predeceased by: his mother Margie Avanel McCue Timms. He is survived by: his father Clarence Odell "Cot" Timms; his wife Amy Timms; his stepmother Janice Smiley Timms; his sons, Cole Timms and Hunter Chapman; and his brothers, Mike Ray of Greenville and Terry Ray (Evelyn) of Minnesota. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
