The family announces the passing of Betty Jo Thompson of Belton, South Carolina on October 21, 2026. Betty, born on June 11, 1935, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. She was predeceased by: her spouse Charlie Thompson; her parents, Paul Lowe and Ruth Bryant Lowe; and her sisters, Pat Sanders and Faye Carwile.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Thompson (Teresa) and Chad Thompson (Fred Santiago); her grandsons, Nicholas Thompson (Angie), Michael Thompson, Joshua Fleming (Teri) and Jason Fleming (Nicki); and her siblings, Larry Lowe (Joyce) and Brenda Darby. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sullivan-King Mortuary (3205 N Hwy 81, Anderson, SC 29621). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Mausoleum Chapel.
