She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Powell and Juanita Johnson Powell; her brother Ronnie Powell; and her sisters-in-law, Vivian, Louise and Evelyn Powell.
She is survived by: her husband David Vernon Ausburn; her daughter Christy Smith (Mark) of Belton; her brothers, Jerry, David, Danny (Larel "Sissy"), Donnie and Gary Powell (Wanda); and her grandson Christopher Shane Smith of Belton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
