She was predeceased by: her husband James Hubert Vaughn; her parents, Floyd Banister and Johnnie Banister; her daughter Teresa A Reeves; her brother Ronnie Banister; and her sister-in-law Betty Banister.

She is survived by: her children, Timothy Vaughn (Linda) of Belton and Tammy R Bruce (Raymond) of Elberton, GA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
