He was predeceased by: his parents, Felton Thompson Sr. and Cecelia Agnew Thompson (Helen Howard Thompson); his daughter Phyllis Thomas; and his sisters, Velma Smith and Catherine Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Thompson of Belton, S. C., Sheila Denise Rhea (Wayne) of Anderson, S. C. and Felton Thompson III of Columbia, S. C.; his stepson Gregory Howard (Sharon) of Willingboro, N. J.; and his brother Charles Thompson (Monique). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Holloway's Funeral Home (101 Holloway Blvd, Belton, SC 29627). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Boradmouth Baptist Church Cemetery (1400 Abercrombie Rd, Honea Path, SC 29654). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at the M. J. Dolly Veteran Cemetery.
