He was predeceased by: his parents, Williams Smith and Dollie Mae McDavid. He is survived by: his wife Lenor Harper Smith; his sons, Patrick Lorenzo Smith of Fayetteville, NC and Hadji S. Harper (Julie) of Piedmont, SC; and his siblings, Karen Smith of Silver Springs, Linda Mosley of Reston, Melissa Davis of Virginia and William Young of Leesburg, Georgia.
