She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Thomas and Fannie Sue Bowen Ginn; her son Kenneth Dale Pearson; and her siblings, James Ginn, Lloyd Ginn, Bill Ginn, Margaret Payne Cordell, Immogene Vickory Campbell, Mattie Pearl Thompson, Ruby Nell Ginn and Dockey Bratcher Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband David Lee Alewine; her daughter Rhonda Hardy (Robert); her grandsons, Nathan Dale Pearson (Morgan) and Noah Hardy; her great grandchildren, Delaney Pearson and Natalie Pearson; and her nephew Joel Thomas Ginn (Betty).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made to Second Baptist Church Belton Shirley Bumpus Sunday School Class.
