She was predeceased by: her husband William Wallace Cook; her parents, John Daniel Ouzts and Lois Woodard Ouzts Starnes; her sister Betty Broadwell; her brothers-in-law, Harold, Bobby McKittrick and Calvin Broadwell; and her stepson Rickey Cook.

She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Roberts (Russell); her grandchildren, Courtney Roberts, Adam Roberts, Ricky Cook, Crystal Mizer, Lystra Palmer, Mackenzie Cook, Iliana Cook and Nyla Cook; and her sisters, Nancy McKittrick, Barbara McKittrick and Janice Mullinax (Donnie).
