We are sad to announce that, on December 15, 2025, at the age of 100, Lucy Abercrombie of Belton, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Matthew Ingram Simmons and Minnie Holmes Simmons; her children, Michael William Abercrombie and Louise Kathleen Davis; and her siblings, Ernest Simmons, Andrew Teague, Babe Teague, Ruth Ann Holder, Beatrice Jones, Betty Roach and Julie Mae Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Emory Orr Abercrombie of Belton, Roy Ross Abercrombie, Jr. of Belton, Warren Alex Abercrombie of Pelzer, Sybil Vesta Abercrombie of Seneca and Nona Patricia Clark of Pelzer; and her sister Dorothy Wilson of Liberty. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
