Luther Honea Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Honea of Belton, South Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Luther Honea to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Honea and Minnie Mae Waldrop Honea; and his siblings, Pete, Ralph, Larry, Charles, Margaret, Virginia, Flora Mae and Betty.

He is survived by: his children, Roger Dale Honea of Belton, David Stanley Honea of Anderson and Vicki Todd (Doug) of Belton; and also Bessie Lee Honea of Belton. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pruitt Funeral Home (603 N Main St, Honea Path, SC 29654). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Place Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel.
