She was predeceased by: her husband Tommy Tarleton; her parents, Earl Childress and Katharine Pritchett Childress; and her son Allen Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Tonya Neely (Craig), Tammy Crompton, Thomas Earl Tarleton (Beth) and Kenneth Tarleton (Kim); and her brothers, Edward Childress (Sue) and Daniel Childress. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
