She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Gilvin Bates and Sara Brown Wooten; her husband John McGee; and her siblings, Rebekah Harper, Charles Bates, Betty Jo Addison and Gilvin "Bill" Bates.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Crumley (Steve), Samantha Allison (Johnny), Sharon Roy and Debbie Bannister (Glen); her grandchildren, Tyler Crumley (Brittany), Morgan Asbell (Chris), Rylee Allison, Nicole Brown (Mike), Heather Gambrell (Kerry), Matthew Bannister and Stephanie Crumley; and her great grandchildren, Constance, Aaliyah, Bowen, Mason, Rhett, Mia, Sarah, Emma, Kameron and Bennett.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church (5901 Belton Hwy, Belton, SC 29627).
