She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Ray Wood; and her parents, Dearl Gilstrap and Patricia Ann Redden Gilstrap. She is survived by: her children, April Bowie (Chad), Shannon Carter (Michelle) and Michael Gilstrap (Teresa); her siblings, Tony Gilstrap (Angie), Dearl Gilstrap (Sharon) and Wanda Strickland (Michael); and her grandchildren, Alyssa Smith, Emily Gilstap, Michael Scott Gilstrap Jr., Dawson Strickland, Marissa Hunter, Kielah Bowie and Kieran Bowie. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
