She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecelia Agnew Thompson and Felton Thompson Sr.; her husband Mendel Smith; and her sister Catherine Thompson. She is survived by: her daughter Valerie S. Epps of Atlanta Ga; her stepson Andrew Adams (Angie) of Anderson, S. C.; her brothers, Felton Thompson (Helen) of Greenville, S. C. and Charles F. Thompson (Monique) of Folsom; and her grandchildren, Valerie Demetria Epps and Sterling Alexandria Epps.
