It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendy King of Belton, South Carolina, who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Wendy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Wendy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Petty and Laura Dickson Lequire; and her daughter Beth Blackshire. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Joe King; her daughter Victoria Blackshire Doolittle; her sisters, Margaret Carter, Rachel Petty, Teresa Petty and Joyce Anderson; and her grandson Eli Doolittle.
