He is survived by: his wife Mary Dianne Sears Edens; his children, Melody Crenshaw (Scott), Gene Edens (Tonya) and Brian Edens (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jacob Scroggins, Kara Crenshaw, Katie Edens, Bonnie Edens, Ava Edens and Gavin Edens; his great grandchild Silas Brocklehurst; and his sisters, Ruby Cabaniss, Thelma Timms and Barbara Shipman.
