He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. J. William Haynie and Annie Pierce Blake Haynie of Belton, SC.; and his brother Lewis Haynie. He is survived by: his wife Anne Sullivan Haynie of Mount Pleasant; his children, Mayor Will Haynie (Suzette) of Mount Pleasant, SC and Nancy Haynie Cheatham (Deck) of Monteagle, TN; his granddaughter Sarah Cheatham Oberle; his great grandchild Ellis of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Blake Cheatham, Joy of Columbus, OH, Elizabeth Cheatham McBay, Kyle of Chattanooga, TN, William Ransom Haynie III of Jay, VT, Laura Haynie Huffman and Robert; and his great grandchild Archer.
