He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Holliday and Eneth Gilstrap Holliday; his son William Mitch Holliday Jr.; and his sister Lynn Jones. He is survived by: his wife Kay Holliday of Belton; his children, Dallas Johnson, Casey Holliday (Brittany) and Kayla Brown (T. J.); his brother Gil Holliday (Renae); his grandchildren, Harley Smith (Quenten), Hunter Overholt, Dalton Johnson (Sofia), Brayden Brown, Reagan Brown (Dustin), Atticus Holliday and Tytus Holliday; and his great grandchildren, Nadia-Grace Smith and Cash Smith.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Cox Funeral Home (201 River St, Belton, SC 29627). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (1201 Shady Grove Rd, Belton, SC 29627).
