She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Overton Hayes and Iola Walters Hayes; her husband Edmond Blue; and her children, Gary Herman Blue, Ricky Edmond Blue, Sherwood "Woody" Mitchell Blue and Brenda Blue Goodwin.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Dianne Brigman; and her children-in-law, Andy Goodwin and Amy Blue. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery (1618 Salem Rd, Bennettsville, SC 29512).
