It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Perkins (Bennettsville, South Carolina), born in McColl, South Carolina, who passed away on March 1, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus David and Ila Bell Bowen; her husband Johnny Leroy Perkins; her brothers, Vernon Bowen, Julian Bowen and David Bowen; and her great grandchild Christopher Miles Hamilton.

She is survived by: her children, Steve Johnson (Darlene Brady) of Bennettsville, Carol Schweitz (John) of Florence, Kathy Sloan (Bill) of Southern Pines, NC and Andrea Perkins (Phillip Gulledge) of Bennettsville; her brother Charles Winburn Bowen of Bennettsville; her grandchildren, Christina, Emma, Nathan, Matthew, Andrew, Katarina, Kerri, Jon and Kendall; and her great grandchildren, Jaxson, Arabella, Asher, Lila, Silas, Sophia and Jameson.
