He was predeceased by: his parents, Kyle Gehm and Pauline Gehm; and his son Brett Gehm. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Moody Gehm; his brother Richard Kyle Gehm; and his children, Tammy Gathings (John) of Ruby, Michael Gehm (Tessa) of New Jersey and Audrea Phillips (Tim) of Conway. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Norman's honor to Agape'Hospice P.O. Box 474 Bennettsville, SC 29512.
