She was predeceased by: her parents, Whiteford Baker and Lille Roberts Baker; her husband George "Buck" West; and her siblings, Albert Baker, Dotsy Baker, Magdalene Baker, Beatrice Baker, Odessa Faile, Marie Hancock, Edna Parker, Eleanor Watkins and Doris West.
She is survived by: her sons, S. C. Born, George Timothy "Timmy" West of West Columbia, S. C. and Dennis West (Dawn) of Bethune, S. C.; her grandchildren, Brandy Kelley (Chriss) of Bethune, S. C. and Kelly West of Bethune, S. C.; her great grandchildren, Kayleigh West of Bethune, S. C., Kimber Melton of Bethune, S. C., Natalie Kelley of Bethune, S. C., Grayson Kelley of Bethune, S. C. and Dixie Kelley of Bethune, S. C.; her sister Shirley Connell of Kershaw, S. C.; her sister-in-law Sue Baker of Virginia; and her caregiver Jamie Campbell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baker Funeral Home (210 E Hilton St, Kershaw, SC 29067). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel (210 E Hilton St, Kershaw, SC 29067).
