She is survived by : her significant other James Toney, Jr.; her children, Nathaniel Toney, Sr. (Michelle) of Bishopville, SC, Yvette Jones (Ronney) of Darlington, SC and Anthony; her goddaughter Natasha Johnson-Geter (Todd) of Sumter, SC; her siblings, Bennie Dixon of Linden, NJ, Cynthia Johnson (Wayne) of Sumter, SC, Robert Dixon of Linden, NJ and Marc Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Jobe Toney (Willie Mae) of Columbia, SC, Willie Lee Dowell of Bishopville, SC, Thelma Toney, Gloria Dixon of Roselle, NJ, Greta Mark of Sumter, SC and Ada Trapp-Toney of Lynchburg, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ephriam D. Stephens Funeral Home (230 N Lafayette Dr, Sumter, SC 29150). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the New Zion A. M. E. Church (78 Elliott Hwy, Bishopville, SC 29010).
