She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor Richardson and Minola Price Richardson; her husband Franklin Purvis; her sons, Howard Purvis and Kenny Purvis; and her brother Donald Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Purvis (Sharon) of Manning and Sandra Hill of Sumter; her granddaughter Tomie Sue Wolff (Robert) of Bishopville; her great great grandchild Emmie Kate Lawhon; her sister Nellie Avins of Florence; and her sister-in-law Pat Richardson of Florence.
