He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Lane and Lois Ann Anderson Lane; and his brother Michael Lane. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Smith Lane; his daughters, Cynthia Wheeler Munn (Wayne) and Marcy Wheeler Reppenhagen; and his siblings, Mark Lane and Connie Cromer. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
