He was predeceased by : his parents, Evelyna Mickel and Ruben Blakney; and his cousin Bobby Moses. He is survived by : his children, Annetta Benjamin, Tinikia Benjamin, Tanya Holloman, Deiondra Mickel, Keno Slater, Owansa Benjamin, Shereza Middleton, Tyrus Mazyck and Namon Mazyck; and his brothers, Benny Moses and Lynn Blakney. He is also survived by Twenty-three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
