We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2023, at the age of 88, Charles Richard Reading of Blacksburg, South Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Richard Reading to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Burl Reading and Esther Nelson Reading. He is survived by : his wife Opal Clawson Reading; and his children, Jess Reading (Teresa) and Jalayne R. Setzer (Tim) of Blacksburg, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Lake Wylie Christian Assembly, 5766 Charlotte Highway, Lake Wylie, SC 29710.
