He was predeceased by : his wife Mary Pat Mizell Allen; and his parents, Lawrence Lee Allen and Sara Huskey Allen. He is survived by : his children, David Lee Allen (Tasha Nicole) of Blacksburg and Heather Allen Duncan (Joe) of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Will Duncan, Jace Duncan, Jaylen Hames, Taylor Whitworth, Paisley Allen, Mackenzie Allen and Harper Allen; and his close friend Lynn Pennington Diones of Blacksburg.
