He is survived by : his fiancée Faye Bolin; his daughter Ashley Bowen; his siblings, Forrest Bowen, Christine Bowen, Susan Black and Kay Bolin; and his nieces and nephews, Leslie Stone, Christy Bowen, Summer Bowen, Brandon Bowen, Johnathan Childers, Matt, Chris Logan and Travis Bowen.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Gordon Mortuary (400 W Cherokee St, Blacksburg, SC 29702).
