She is survived by: her children, Nikki Childers (Jason O'Dell), Brittany Childers (James Wilson), Adrian Childers (Austin Kitchin) and LaShea Brakefield (Dusty); her siblings, Amanda Talley and Robyn Fortenberry; and her grandchildren, Claire, Gabby, Axell and Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Whitaker Baptist Church (433 N Mountain St Ext, Blacksburg, SC 29702). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
