She is survived by: her daughter Dorothy Melton; her grandchildren, Rita Patterson, Connie Johnson, Anita Martin, Tiffanie Goodwin (Doug), Susan Bailey, Patrick Johnson, Jr., Amanda Rice (Jeremy), Chris Snipes (Jennifer), Angela Strickland, Haley Stroud, Tylan Stroud and Jonathan Berry; and her close friend Jasper Johnson.
