He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin Putnam and Mary Sue Barrett Putnam; and his brother Kenneth Putnam. He is survived by: his sister Sheila White (Terry); and his close friend Hattie Bolin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gordon Mortuary (400 W Cherokee St, Blacksburg, SC 29702). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
